Website Assists in Building Your Own Mobile App

Website Assists in Building Your Own Mobile App

If you are in business these days, you need an app. However, many individuals and businesses may be concerned that they don't know how to create an app. Many think it is necessary to hire an app developer to perform the work, and finances quickly become a concern.

Don't fret. There is actually a website where you can create your own mobile app. It's simple too. All the tools are already available. All you have to do is select what you want in the app, drag and drop. Moreover, the site includes a marketplace where you can publish and distribute your mobile app. And you can do all of this for free.

Who is providing you with a platform to construct mobile apps? The name of the company (and the website) is Infinite Monkeys. Launched in January 2011, Infinite Monkeys has offices in Jersey City, New Jersey and Singapore and claims that it has about 1,000 apps in its marketplace. In addition, the company claims that apps made through Infinite Monkeys can be published to any external market including the Apple App Store, Google Android Marketplace, Amazon, and Gerjar.

You can create your own mobile app in three steps in about 20 minutes.

1. Gather content. Infinite Monkeys offers a plethora of tools that you can incorporate into an app including social feeds, a live calendar of your upcoming events, promotion material, and more. 2. Drag and drop. Log in to the Infinite Monkeys' app maker called "The Machine" and create your app by simply following instructions. 3. Publish to the market. Just click "publish" and your mobile app is in the Infinite Monkeys' marketplace. You can create mobile apps for the iPhone or Android or create your own Infinite Monkeys mobile website, which works HTML5 smartphone devices including Android, Apple, BlackBerry, Windows, Nokia, and more. You can choose to offer your app for free with advertising provided by Infinite Monkeys or no advertising, or sell your app. Infinite Monkeys has a number of partners that assist with the process. They include Appelerator, a mobile app building company; WuFoo, which permits the inclusion of lead generation forms, customer surveys or contact forms into your mobile app; SoundCloud, which allows the inclusion of music tracks into your app; and Akamai, which provide online tools and assist with website construction.

Infinite Monkeys also partners with PRWeb, which distributes its press releases; Qualaroo, which it uses to gather customer feedback; and 15Five, which assists Infinite Monkeys to better communicate with its employees.
